Included with the purchase of the TEQSPORT Performance Tune is an EcuTek Bluetooth OBDII adapter and performance analyzer that is used to flash the provided ROM file onto your stock ECU through EcuTek's ECU Connect App for mobile devices. Together, the App and Bluetooth adapter allow full vehicle integration, giving you the ability to read and reset diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and access to a huge number of diagnostic parameters for both display and data logging, including detailed temperature data for engine oil, coolant, and intake air, ignition timing and knock control, and more.
Direct Tune Delivery
Using the Direct Tune Delivery system, we're able to significantly reduce the time it takes to deliver most tunes, as long as certain prerequisites are met. This means that for the majority of Level 1 customers, they will be able to download their tune immediately upon connecting to the Ecutek Bluetooth dongle. *This is only made possible if you respond to the emailed form in a timely fashion. Delays in response will delay tune delivery. Unsupported ROMs will still experience the normal 5-10 business day delay
*Please make sure your phone is compatible with the EcuTek ECU Connect app (IOS / Android) before ordering. If you need to flash your car using the older laptop method, please contact us. When setting up your account through EcuTek Connect, please be sure to use the SAME EMAIL that you use for your TEQSPORT account. Failure to do this may result in extended processing time.
*Customers who already have a tune from another platform (Cobb, VF Tuner, JB4, etc.), you MUST flash/put your vehicle back to stock before attempting to flash with EcuTek.
When tuning and modifying your V35A powered Toyota, TEQSPORT recommends changing oil weights to 5w-30, using a performance oil, and limiting intervals to no more than 7000 miles. TEQSPORT offers many oil change kits for your Tundra available for purchase HERE.
THE GAINS
The dyno graphs below illustrate the gains we have seen on the Hybrid i-Force Max and non-hybrid i-Force powertrains.
Hybrid - i-Force Max
On the stock calibration, our Hybrid Tundra produced 344whp and 395wtq on 87-octane fuel. After tuning on 87-octane fuel, we gained 37whp and 46wtq. After tuning on 93-octane fuel, we gained 84whp and 97wtq. This left us with a final output of 428whp and 492wtq.
Non-Hybrid - i-Force
On the stock calibration, the non-hybrid Tundra produced 318whp and 371wtq on 87-octane fuel. After tuning on 87-octane fuel, we gained 34whp and 41wtq. After tuning on 93-octane fuel, we gained 65whp and 75wtq. This left us with a final output of 297whp and 373wtq.
Level 1
Our Level 1 Tune is designed for completely stock or lightly modified vehicles with factory catalytic converters. Modifications such as a cat-back exhaust and/or aftermarket intakes are supported by the Level 1 tune.
Level 1 Features:
