THE DESIGN
Because the brake master cylinder is mounted at a slight upward angle from the factory, heavy brake application causes the assembly to move along the same angular trajectory, pushing outward and upward against the firewall. To counter this, the TEQSPORT brace mounts directly to the driver-side strut tower, creating a rigid backbone. An integrated upper extension sits higher on the strut tower against the pinch weld, preventing upward movement and eliminating deflection under load. By eliminating this deflection, the TEQSPORT brace ensures pedal consistency and the full capability of the braking system are maintained when it matters most.
