Attached to the bottom of the engine in your Z is a small plastic oil pan. The oil pan's job is simple and self-explanatory, but also very important; it keeps oil in the engine. This job is made difficult when the oil pan is damaged, and this is something we see far too often. On lowered and even stock height Z's, impact from road debris can crack or shatter the pan, resulting in a loss of engine oil and irreparable damage. If not caught within a matter of minutes (or sometimes seconds), what was a few hundred dollar replacement part becomes a several thousand dollar repair bill. By offering a robust alternative to the plastic OEM pan, the Z1 Aluminum Oil Pan sets out to dramatically reduce the number of replacement engines.

- Auxiliary temperature port - A 1/8 npt port is pre-tapped in the oil pan allowing you to install an aftermarket oil temperature sensor if desired.
- More complete oil changes - The oil drain plug has been lowered to the bottom edge of the pan, allowing you to drain the entirety of the oil in the pan during service. The stock oil pan holds approximately .8L in the pan when drained. The increased capacity combined with the revised drain plug location increases oil change capacity by 1L!
