The gurney flap (often reffered to as a wickerbill) is a device found mounted on the trailing edge of the spoiler on dedicated track cars, or race cars. The gurney flap is used to increase wing efficiency and operates by increasing pressure on the mounted side of the spoiler, thus increasing downforce. As insignificant as it may look, this deceptively simple device has been used over many years to win countless races across all forms of motorsports.
These are super lightweight, made in carbon fiber using the pre-pregnated "dry" carbon process, and conform perfectly to the contours of the GTC-series 3D airfoils. They are easily attached using the included double-sided tape.
