Our Shift Knob is manufactured from Delrin, an acetal homopolymer that boasts low weight, high strength, and doesn't retain heat like aluminum. Simply put, this shift knob will not burn your hand after sitting in the sun for hours! Under the Delrin shell, a steel weight is added to bring the weight of the knob up to 7.8oz, 1oz more than the OEM knob. This extra weight reduces shift effort, making gear changes smoother.
