TEQSPORT Rock Sliders for the 2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner deliver serious protection and trail-ready functionality, safeguarding your rocker panels against damage when navigating challenging terrain.
Why do you need them?
The rocker panels along the sides of your 4Runner are among the most vulnerable areas when driving off-road. A poorly placed rock, ledge, or obstacle can quickly dent, crush, or deform these panels, often leading to costly body repairs. In severe impacts, damage can extend into the door openings themselves, creating even larger repair bills. Rock sliders are designed to absorb these impacts before they reach your vehicle's body. Whether you're tackling technical rock trails, exploring remote forest roads, or simply venturing beyond the pavement, quality rock sliders provide the confidence to navigate obstacles without worrying about body damage.
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
TEQSPORT Rock Sliders are engineered to provide exceptional strength, rigidity, and trail protection. The main slider structure utilizes 2.0" DOM tubing built from 1/8" wall steel tubing. The support struts feature 2.0" DOM tubing built from 1/4" wall steel tubing. Support struts are double gusseted to reduce flex, and each slider mounts directly to the frame using robust 1/4" thick steel mounting plates, creating a secure foundation capable of handling hard trail impacts.
Every support strut is double-gusseted to minimize flex and distribute loads throughout the assembly. This reinforced design provides outstanding resistance to twisting and deflection, allowing the sliders to support the weight of the vehicle during recovery situations or when lifting the vehicle with a jack and the appropriate tube adapter.
TEQSPORT Rock Sliders are available in two configurations to suit your needs:
20-Degree Angled Sliders are designed for maximum ground clearance and obstacle deflection. The upward angle helps keep the vehicle tucked away from trail hazards while maintaining excellent rocker panel protection. Rear kick-out tread plates provide improved footing for rear seat access while retaining the aggressive off-road profile enthusiasts demand. The 20-degree sliders do not get a tread plate in the front portion because they are not ideal for use as a step.
5-Degree Sliders offer increased usability as a step while still providing substantial off-road protection. Full-length tread plates provide secure footing for entering and exiting the vehicle, making them an excellent choice for daily-driven 4Runners, overland builds, and family adventure rigs.
Our shipping and engineering teams have worked tirelessly to package these sliders in a manner that they can be shipped using ground services, greatly reducing the cost to the customer. Please understand that while we take great care to ensure these arrive in the best possible condition, we cannot control how ground shipping services handle the 100lb packages. If you select a ground shipping service, it is possible that your sliders could arrive with minor scuffs. If small blemishes are a concern to you, we recommend selecting an express or freight shipping method.
