The rocker panels along the sides of your Tacoma are among the most vulnerable areas when driving off-road. DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
TEQSPORT Rock Sliders are engineered to provide exceptional strength, rigidity, and trail protection. The main slider structure utilizes 2.0" DOM tubing built from 1/8" wall steel tubing. The support struts feature 2.0" DOM tubing built from 1/4" wall steel tubing. Support struts are gusseted to reduce flex, and each slider mounts directly to the frame using robust 1/4" thick steel mounting plates, creating a secure foundation capable of handling hard trail impacts.
Every support strut is gusseted to minimize flex and distribute loads throughout the assembly. This reinforced design provides outstanding resistance to twisting and deflection, allowing the sliders to support the weight of the vehicle during recovery situations or when lifting the vehicle with a jack and the appropriate tube adapter.
This is an optional drill-design slider. While it is plenty strong in the completely bolt-on configuration, there are optional holes and hardware provided to allow customers to drill and set additional mounting hardware for extra rigidity and strength.
