Before increasing the power of your flat four, it is wise to ensure all maintenance is up to date and these processes are performing as intended. Weak spark from your ignition system can result in misfiring under high-load driving, and spark blow-out, which hinders performance.

Mishimoto is proud to launch their new lineup of ignition coils, aimed at providing high-quality replacements that can bring your vehicle up to Stage 0 before moving on to horsepower adding modifications. These ignition coils are designed and tested to meet or exceed OEM Subaru performance standards and are available as a single coil or in a set of four. Once installed with a set of new spark plugs, one can expect a refreshed ignition system with improved engine startup, a smoother idle, and restored performance from your FA. The primary frame of our coils is constructed from extremely robust phenolic resin, ensuring optimal longevity in high- temperature environments. The precision lower boot provides a barrier against moisture entry into the plug well, eliminating chances for spark plug contamination. In addition, these coils are pre-lubricated with dielectric grease to prevent corrosion and ensure an optimal connection between the spark plug and coil.
