Frustrated by the goofy hood prop rod embarrassing you at car shows and getting in the way while you are working under the hood? TEQSPORT's High-Lift Hood Strut Kit fits all 2017-2020 Toyota 86 models and replaces the original hood prop rod with two high-lift gas-charged hood struts for a cleaner-looking engine bay and easier service.
Installation is simple; the provided mounting bracket and ball stud are installed in existing holes on your 86's chassis, and no modification to the chassis is required.
These hood struts are intended for OE aluminum hoods only. Use with fiberglass or carbon fiber hoods may lead to cracks in the center of the hood when closing.
