Originally developed for F1, Indycar, and the Aerospace industry, reflective gold thermal tape is a highly effective material used for managing radiant heat on intercoolers, fuel rails, intake piping, and various other places that need to be protected from extreme heat exposure.
This larger wrap also works well on floor pans, transmission tunnels, firewalls, and larger surface areas where exhaust, turbos, or other large heat sources are located. This is the same thermal barrier used by most of our staff on their own track and endurace race cars.
Our Gold Thermal Wrap is constructed from a highly reflective metalized polyamide polymer material with a laminated glass cloth backing. The adhesive is a high temperature, pressure sensitive material for use in environments subject to extreme temperatures and has a temperature rating of up to 320°F.
