TEQSPORT's Drop-In Air Filter is engineered to improve power and efficiency without requiring any modifications to the air intake system or ECU calibration.
This filter features a single-layer cotton mesh media, providing maximum airflow and excellent filtration. The media used in our drop-in air filters is the very same media used in all of our cold-air intakes that are currently in development. The cotton-based media can be washed and reused, providing great value. TEQSPORT's drop-in air filters were engineered to properly fit the factory airbox, maximizing filter surface area for optimal flow and performance!
SPECIAL NOTE: During the development of TEQSPORT's Performance Tune, we found that the stock air filters were collapsing at higher boost levels, restricting output and reducing power potential. After installing the more rigid frame filter, we gained an additional 7whp and 13wtq over the stock filter. For this reason, TEQSPORT highly recommends the use of a drop-in performance media filter, ESPECIALLY when used with a performance ECU tune.
