2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner 4.0L V6 OEM Upper Smooth Idler Pulley.

The idler pulley is responsible for guiding and maintaining tension with the drive belt. As the bearings in the pulley wear, you may begin to experience a high-pitched squeaking or squealing. Over time, this may result in complete bearing failure, causing the pulley to lock up and break the belt.

This pulley is located at the top of the assembly between the water pump and the alternator. It is also used below the drive belt between the power steering pump and water pump.
