TEQSPORT's 2024+ Tacoma Dash Platform is a versatile accessory mount panel designed for mounting items such as cell phones, radios, GPS devices, and more. The panel is installed just behind the infotainment screen in the center of your Tacoma's dashboard, keeping items within easy reach when needed but not within the driver's direct line of sight. This setup allows for viewing and accessing items without causing a distraction or impeding the driver's forward vision. To reinforce the outer panel, it attaches to the frame below the dash trim. Installation requires no permanent modifications or modifications to your vehicle. Just simply pop the plastic trim piece out, and bolt the mounts to existing provisions in the dashboard.
Attaching items to the panel can be done using one of several methods;
Base Audio (8" Display)
- Placed across the panel, a grid system allows you to use center-locking quarter-turn t-nuts and t-studs to attach and locate items across the panel. This system greatly expands mounting capabilities over panels that only utilize fixed holes.
- 8 M6x1.0 pem studs are positioned across the top of the panel, with an additional stud located on the left side of the panel. This can be used for installing mounts, such as our 20mm accessory mount ball, to a fixed position on the panel.
JBL Audio (14" Display)
- Placed across the panel, a grid system allows you to use center-locking quarter-turn t-nuts and t-studs to attach and locate items across the panel. This system greatly expands mounting capabilities over panels that only utilize fixed holes.
- 5 M6x1.0 pem studs are positioned across the top of the panel, with an additional stud located on the face and right side of the panel. This can be used for installing mounts, such as our 20mm accessory mount ball, to a fixed position on the panel.
