Modular is the name of the game, and TEQSPORT's Bed Rack delivers. In its standard configuration, our bed rack offers a stable platform to mount a rooftop tent and a multitude of storage options for side-mounted accessories. Additional cross bars can be added and positioned anywhere across the rack to provide more mounting options for other roof-mounted accessories. Optional molle panels can be installed on either side of the rack, giving you even more mounting options for everyday items. The rear cross bar is reversible and has provisions to mount either a 30" light bar or chase light on one side, or two 2" light pods on the opposite side. The choice is yours. Specially designed light brackets are included to support a variety of aftermarket lights.
Putting it together
Assembly and installation of the rack have been simplified so that even the newest off-road enthusiast can complete it with ease! This provides a strong mount without interfering with your truck's utility rail system. A full-length bed rail mounting plate eliminates concentrated loads on the bed rail, reducing the opportunity for dimpling of the bed rail when fully loaded. Once installed, the height rests at 18" above the bedside so as to not interfere with the driver's rear visibility. The rack is tall enough to fit a bed-mounted 35" spare tire with lots of room for other cargo. In the event something larger needs to be stored, any additional roof bars can be easily removed for extra space.
This rack has undergone in-house testing to verify its capacity to support up to 1300lbs of static load. For everyday use, we recommend considering a benchmark of around 750lbs when the rack is stationary and loaded. Please note that this recommendation is a guideline, and it's essential to exercise caution and use your best judgment to ensure safety when loading the rack.
Optional extras
In the product options, you can choose to add the following add-ons;
- Front MOLLE Panels - Sold in a set of two for both sides of the rack and installed in the foremost position on the rack.
- Rear MOLLE Panels - Sold individually, this panel is available for both sides of the rack and is used to offer more versatile mounting solutions for larger accessories.
- Additional Roof Cross Bar - We recommend adding this bar if you plan to install a rooftop tent. Adding an additional cross bar helps spread the load across the roof rack, making the floor of your tent feel more rigid and secure.
