The TEQSPORT Snorkel raises the intake inlet of the 2024+ Tacoma, helping reduce dust ingestion and providing additional protection during water crossings. Its large 4-inch inlet provides plenty of airflow for the TEQSPORT Cold Air Intake while also allowing compatibility with large aftermarket pre-cleaners.
Built from rugged roto-molded XLPE, the snorkel offers excellent UV stability, strength, and toughness for long-term use in demanding environments. An optional drain plug at the bottom of the snorkel body also provides an easy way to remove any water that may find its way inside, whether from a water crossing or simply washing the truck.
A Snorkel Designed as a Complete System
The TEQSPORT Snorkel was designed in tandem with the TEQSPORT Cold Air Intake. Because both components were engineered together from the beginning, we were able to design the system to work in two different configurations depending on how you're using the truck.
Under normal driving conditions, the included EPDM snorkel plug can remain stored in the glovebox, leaving both the snorkel and the primary intake inlet open. This allows the TEQSPORT Cold Air Intake to draw air from two intake paths for maximum airflow and performance. This is the recommended configuration for everyday street driving.
When heading off-road, particularly in dusty, muddy, or wet conditions, the EPDM plug can be installed into the primary inlet of the TEQSPORT Cold Air Intake. The plug seals the main inlet and forces the intake to draw air exclusively through the snorkel. This gives you the best of both configurations: unrestricted access to both intake paths when maximum airflow is the priority, and a dedicated raised intake path when additional protection from water and debris is needed. The plug installs when you need it and stays out of the way when you don't.
An Industry-First Installation Template
Cutting a hole into the side of your truck is easily the most nerve-racking part of installing a snorkel. There isn't much room for error, and even a small mistake in placement can leave you with a hole that doesn't properly line up with the snorkel or the surrounding bodywork.
To eliminate that guesswork, TEQSPORT developed a 3D thermoformed installation template using a complete scan of the Tacoma's fender. The result is a 100% body-accurate template that follows the actual contours and body lines of the truck, allowing you to precisely locate the snorkel and accurately mark the hole before making the cut.
This is the first snorkel installation template of its kind, turning what is normally the most intimidating part of the installation into a straightforward, repeatable process. Rather than trying to measure from reference points and hoping everything lines up, the template physically locates itself against the body of the truck and gives you a precise cutting guide.
